Yuqiu (Quincy) Zhang

# About

I am a Senior Software Engineer at Confluent. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Toronto, advised by Professor Hans-Arno Jacobsen. My research interests span multiple areas of cloud computing, including resource management, serverless computing and stream processing, with a focus on improving application performance and cost efficiency in large-scale cloud systems. I have published at top-tier systems and data-management venues such as VLDB, HPDC, SoCC, Middleware, SIGMOD, and ICDE. Before coming to Toronto, I obtained my B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
